Accessibility & Support
Making assessment easier.
If communication or the forms we use in Our Process → are difficult for you, we can talk with you about other ways to take part.
We are also happy to adapt our process if you don’t like forms, or simply prefer to talk with a person instead.
01 — FORMS & APPOINTMENTS
You do not have to do everything by form.
WHY WE USE FORMS
Our forms help us collect information before appointments. This can save time and reduce the amount of paid appointment time you need.
IF FORMS ARE HARD
If forms are difficult for you, we can go through the questions with you in an appointment instead. This may take more time, but that is completely okay.
02 — FEES
We charge for the time we spend.
We bill based on the time needed for your assessment.
Doing forms before an appointment can save time and lower the cost. If you would rather talk through the information with us, we can do that too.
03 – OTHER SUPPORT
We can also make other changes.
Breaks & pacing
We may be able to use shorter appointments, slower pacing, telehealth (if clinically appropriate) or extra breaks.
Language & communication
Interpreter support and other communication help may be available.
Support people
A support person may be involved where clinically appropriate (not available for all assessment procedures).
04 – IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Some things still need to be confirmed.
Some consent, privacy, payment and service information may still need to be reviewed or confirmed in writing. We will explain what is needed and help make the process as simple as possible.
Our Terms of Service explain the main conditions that apply when receiving services from BPA.
05 – NEXT STEP
Tell us what would help.
You do not need to know exactly what adjustment you need. When you fill out our short enquiry form, tell us what is difficult, or what has helped before, and we can talk about options.
